Keramiekatelier " Den Boelover "

The process for wood fired stoneware is one with nature and goes back to antiquity. Each firing is an experience in which the kiln glows red-hot for over 96 hours. In the heat of the fire the urn is formed by the capriciousness of the flames. Fire melts ash to form a glaze and determines hereby colours and drawing on the urn. It looks as if the glow of the fire leaves it's signature on each piece. Earth, fire and ashes are the elements from where out Marnic De Lange's work is born. Add to this a form signed by sheer beauty, a beauty characterized by simplicity and clean lines, though it was created by nature itself. Form and content, existence and destination become one. Each piece is unique, like each person is unique. The work of Marnic De Lange reflects a timeless beauty, made for eternity.
