Nicole en Ingrid are having
problems with their bikes
We’re
finally moving on'', Nicole and Ingrid tell us from Egtved, after cycling 250 km
in Denmark. Our luggage, which was
attached to the bike came off all the time.
The junction that connects our bike with our luggage seemed not strong
enough. Nearly every day we had to
make a stop at a smithy. Legoland
eventually helped us.
The
director of the Legolandpark came over to talk to us after he spotted us
at the entry. He immediately instructed one of his mechanics to help us
out. After a good night sleep and
two days of pottering on our bikes – by then we knew Legoland by heart – our
mechanic had found an
indestructible junction. The next
few weeks will be tough and full of improvisation.
To get to Copenhagen we’ll have to cross several bridges. But these bridges are not accessible for cyclists. Our plan
is to charm a sailor or worst, to get a sailing-boat
