Nicole en Ingrid still on their way through Germany

Each day, we skate up to 35 km.  Don’t forget the fact that we have to push our luggage as well (60 kg). 

The two of them still have at least a fortnight to go, before reaching the Denmark’s border.  There, they will switch from skates to a cycle

Because of the bad weather in Hamburg , we were forced to look for a cheap hotel for the night instead of using the local camping place.   Our hotel was right in the middle of a prostitution area .  While Nicole went inside the hotel, Ingrid stayed outside.  In no time a man came up to her and asked her how much she  charged”.

When we left the next morning, we made a stop at the Townhall.   Ingrid had laid down her helmet to take some pictures and people started throwing money in her helmet.  People wrongly thought that she was part of the musicians who stood not far from us.   Ingrid unfortunately received only EUR. 1,5 !!!
