Nicole en Ingrid, the Flemish Globetrappers who travel without engines around the world, cutted the Gordian knot. Two separate lounch-bikes were sent over by DHL to Teheran through Brussels. From Teheran, they will continue their trip to Pakistan.
What a miracle ! Their knees are doing better. The trip to Shiraz saved them. Apparently, in Shiraz are the best academic hospitals of Iran. The opportunity they got to visit a specialist there, was something they grabbed with both hands.
Nicole tells us : “daily exersice in the water and a good treatment by a male kinesist – a real man who knows all about kine – saved Ingrid”. The pain in her knee got less and less and she now has almost got her courage back. We’re fit again and we go for it”, Ingrid confirms”.
Nicole : “A difficult moment is coming up for us. We will have to take Prince to a day care center, a big area where handicapped children live. We will leave Prince their with the gardener. Kamal, our dear friend took care of that. We found out that Prince is not afraid of children. We are 100 % sure that Prince is in good hands and they assured us that he will get good food and the right medication. We had to leave him behind anyway once we cross the border.
“We got good news too ! The Iran government extended our visum. We now have the permisson to reach the Iran/Pakistan border, some 1500 kilometers. Dutch tourists told us that we definitively will be escorted by the police in Pakistan, a ‘obliged’ escort. By then our knees will be back in order !
