Nicole and Ingrid left 

The last night before we left we didn't sleep much,says Ingrid. We were packing till 02.00 o'clock, and we were very nervous. The night from Saterday to Sunday we slept like a marmot.  Not that we were tired from the first 43 kilometre, but on the start party in the recreation park Waesmeer we dansed till even before midnight. At the party there were even bellydansers.

In Mariakerke the Schelde needed to calm down and the two ladys cross the sea with a seakajak.

 There was a strong stream, and it rained the whole time. We needed help from the profs to ga back to the side. Two oldermen from Hamme undressed us in public.  Our waterproof clothes squeezed against our body.
