Important info: my former distributor for the USA, Main Street Cigar, still advertises on his website that he is my sole distributor.  As per 25 Dec. 2011 his is no longer distributor of my pipes at all.  A decision I had to take.

For those customers who didn't know yet: loyal customers (who already bought a hand made pipe from me) have a discount of -10% on the price of any handmade 'Elie' pipe (pipes, shown in  the Webshop on my main site / no discount on shipping).

Ordering over the internet = a legally binding contract.
Dear costumers, friends,  please, think twice before you send me emails, telling me you want to buy this or that pipe. The rising and large amount of those order-emails followed by silence ('joke-buying'), shows an increasing lack of decency: joke buying has reached a ludicrous >50% of the orders I receive.  It's not only a tremendous  waste of time (those people like to keep me busy one email after another, like 'how to brake-in a pipe'), it also spoils a lot of the joy I have in my work.  It's discouraging. Some of those people even have the nerve, or lack of decency, after having wasted my precious time, to write me which pipe they are going to buy elsewhere.  This is no joke, this happens!  Really!  And often it's even worse: some pipe smokers commision a very special pipe (hardly sellable to others), and when the pipe is finished, I get: total silence or emails like: "I've quit smoking since my order 2 weeks ago."  And one of the 'best': "I commissioned that pipe without the knowledge of my wife.  And she's against it."
Therefor, a pipe will only be reserved after confirmation of your payment.  Special orders: can only be accepted after a non-refundable downpayment of 50% has been made.
A big 'thank you' to the decent people who don't or didn't change their mind.  Yes, there are also many good people among pipe smokers.

Paypal use

Because of rising Paypal fees (5,2% !!!), combined with the fact that I sell at the lowest possible prices, I would like to ask customers outside the Eurozone to please pay by Moneybookers (http://www.moneybookers.com).
As stated at the Info page, Eurozone customers can only pay by (free) bank transfer.
